SUNDAY 5th DECEMBER 10 am – VILLAGE LITTER PICK
Following on from the Parish Council’s great work in recent years, DEN is planning a litter pick. Please email info@deddingtonenvironment.net if you’d like to join in. Bring a yellow vest and gloves if you have them, we will supply pickers, and meet us under the Town Hall in Deddington.
WEDNESDAY 8TH DECEMBER 7 pm – DEN SOCIAL
Come and join us at our first DEN social – an informal get-together to share ideas and inspire each other. Find us from 7 pm at the Deddington Arms, but please drop Nicki a line – nickicraddock@hotmail.com to give us an idea of numbers and bring any of your sustainable Christmas tips with you!
THURSDAY 8TH JANUARY 2022 7pm – FILM NIGHT
A date for January 2022 – we’ll be screening the film “Kiss the Ground” at the Holly Tree Club – this is a thought-provoking film narrated by Woody Harrelson that looks at alternative approaches to farming conundrums. PLASTIC WASTE RESEARCH PROJECT
Oxford Brooks University are doing some research into plastic waste and are seeking couples living in the UK (no children at home) to participate. The focus is on exploring motivations regarding consumption of household plastic waste.
