We had a lovely morning down at the community orchard in April, with 20 plus volunteers. The weather was kind and we got so much done, creating a wildflower area (fingers crossed the rabbits haven’t noticed our tasty wildflower plugs), getting the 5 star luxury bug hotel filled and in place, and giving our orchard trees some TLC – pruning, feeding and mulching the trees. Fabulous!

Big thanks to all those who helped on the day or beforehand with site preparation, strimming, cardboard pinning, collecting bug hotel materials, baking cakes etc.

Thank you to Rowse Honey for donating the wildflower seed and to Jo Eames for kindly donating the wildflower plugs.
