Oxfordshire’s “local loop” car share model featured in the Sunday Times today. |
DEN are investigating the potential for a local car sharing scheme and would love to hear your views. We’re looking at a new concept whereby locals can share their cars with each other. For those with under utilised cars or those who don’t really need that extra car, it could provide great environmental and financial benefits. Up to 30%-40% of a car’s full life carbon footprint is used before it has even driven a mile. There are 39 million cars on the UK roads that are sitting unused for 97% of the time. And they costs an average of £400 per month to run. If you’d like to learn more about the potential to borrow a car or to get better utilisation of your please get in touch.
